WILLINGTON SCHOOLS PARENT-TEACHER RESOURCE CENTERS
Parent-Teacher Resource Centers are now located in both Hall and Center Schools.
These
centers were established to support parent/family involvement for
families with children with disabilities and for all families looking
for emotional-behavioral-academic support for children.
Resources can be borrowed from either Hall or Center Libraries.
The
Parent-Teacher Resource Center is dedicated to raising awareness and
understanding about the care and education of students experiencing
challenges.
The centers feature books and videos for parents, teachers and students on a variety of topics including (but not limited to):
- ADHD
- Autism Spectrum Disorders
- Behavior Challenges
- Bullying
- Discipline
- Social-Emotional Issues
- Gifted, Internet Safety
- Learning Disabilities
- OCD
- Preschool
- Sensory Processing Disorder
- Speech and Language
- Organization
- Homework and Test Taking Strategies
- Building Self-Esteem
- Academic Assistance
